This page sets out what 86d is not: not affiliated with the companies whose names and logos appear on this site, not the owner of their trademarks, not a party to what merchants sell, and not responsible for the third-party tools, links, and content you reach through us. Read it alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer, which carry the operative terms.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vercel, Better Auth, Mintlify, Stripe, or any other third-party service mentioned or shown anywhere on it. Naming a company, describing what its product does, or linking to it says nothing about any relationship between that company and 86d.

Some pages show third-party names and logos to credit the tools we build with or run on. Presentation carries no meaning beyond presentation. Showing a logo in color, in grayscale, or at a given size implies no license, no brand-guideline approval, no partnership, and no endorsement in either direction.

Where a company has publicly recognized 86d, we say so plainly and name the company. Absent that, assume no relationship beyond our use of a product on the same terms available to any other customer.

All product names, company names, brand names, logos, and marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners. Trademarks™ and registered® marks belong to the companies that hold them, not to 86d.

We use these marks only to identify the products they refer to. That is nominative use, and it grants us no rights in the marks and transfers none to you.

If you own a mark and object to how it appears here, write to [email protected] and identify the mark and the page. We review each request and respond.

Merchants who use 86d are independent businesses. We don’t employ them, own them, supply their goods, set their prices, or write their policies.

Presence on 86d is not a certification. Any checks we or our payment processor perform serve our own risk management. They are not a review of a merchant, not an approval of what it sells, and not a representation to you.

A purchase from a store hosted on 86d is a contract between you and that merchant. We are not a party to it, not a buyer, not a seller, and not an agent for either side. Take questions about an order, a refund, a return, or a product directly to the merchant.

We are not a marketplace and we run no buyer protection program. There is no escrow, no purchase guarantee, no refund program, and no claims process operated by 86d. A store running on 86d is not endorsed by 86d, and nothing a merchant says about their goods is our statement.

Our platform depends on services we don’t control. These currently include payment processing, email and SMS delivery, analytics and monitoring, cloud hosting, and authentication providers. This list is not exhaustive, we use other providers, and any of them can change without notice to you.

Those providers set their own terms, prices, and privacy practices. We make no representation about how any of them performs, and we take no responsibility for what they do or fail to do.

Links from this site to anywhere else are for convenience. We don’t review what sits behind them, and a link is neither a recommendation nor a warranty.

Everything on this site is general information about our product. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or compliance advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship of any kind.

This matters most where our documentation touches regulated subjects. Bring these to your own professionals, not to us:

• Sales tax: rates, nexus, registration, and remittance in every state where you sell
• Privacy law: what you must tell your customers and what consent you must collect
• Messaging law: consent and opt-out requirements before you email or text anyone
• Your products: licensing, age restrictions, and import or export rules for what you sell

Any rate, threshold, or requirement mentioned anywhere on this site may be wrong or out of date. Verify it yourself before you rely on it.

Treat any outbound link on this site as one that could pay us. Where a link is compensated we mark it, and this page is the standing disclosure for any we have missed.

Anything we say about plans, roadmaps, upcoming features, or intended behavior describes what we expect at the time we say it. None of it is a commitment, and none of it is part of any agreement between us.

Plans change and features get cut. Buy on what the product does today, not on what we said it might do.

Features labeled beta, preview, or experimental may break, change, or disappear without notice.

We take security and privacy seriously, and nothing on this site should be read as a certification, an audit result, or a warranty that we meet any particular standard or regulation.

Where we hold an audit report or attestation of our own, we name it and identify the firm that issued it. If you don’t see it named, we aren’t claiming it. Where a provider we use holds one, that is their attestation covering their systems, not ours.

If your organization needs specific assurances in writing, ask us at [email protected] rather than inferring them from marketing copy.

Our platform is built with open-source software, and we publish the 86d Store Runtime under the MIT License. Each third-party component carries its own license from its own authors, and those licenses govern your use of it.

Open-source components come from their authors as is, with no warranty from us. If you use 86d without an account with us, the MIT License in that repository is your agreement with us for that code.

Merchants, customers, and other users supply content that appears through our platform, including product listings, images, descriptions, and reviews. We don’t author it, verify it, or adopt it, and it doesn’t represent our views.

We may remove content or restrict an account, but we are under no obligation to monitor and we don’t promise to catch anything.

Testimonials and case studies describe one customer’s experience at one point in time. They are not typical results and not a prediction of yours.

Prices, plans, limits, and fees can change prospectively. We disclose the applicable rate, basis, and effective time before a charge or automatic top-up is authorized.

Payment processor fees are set by the selected processor and remain separate from 86d Cloud management fees, managed usage, and any disclosed 86d Payments fee. With Third-party Payments, the merchant contracts with and pays its provider directly.

Capabilities have separate maturity and availability. Package or registry presence does not mean a capability is ready for production use.

We communicate through the channels listed on our contact page and from addresses at the 86d.app domain. We don’t operate channels we haven’t published.

We don’t ask for passwords, recovery codes, or payment details by direct message. Treat any such request as fraudulent and report it to [email protected]. If someone contacts you claiming to be 86d and you can’t match them to a published channel, treat it as an impersonation attempt.

Our written agreements bind us. Conversations don’t. Statements made by employees, contractors, support agents, community members, sales conversations, social media posts, and automated assistants are not commitments and don’t modify any agreement between us.

If something matters to your decision, get it in writing from us before you rely on it.

This page is informational. It doesn’t grant rights and doesn’t create obligations. Our Terms of Service are the agreement between us, and where anything here appears to differ from the Terms, the Terms govern.

Nothing here limits any right or remedy you have under law that cannot be waived.

We may update this page at any time. The version posted here is the one that applies.
